Serving metro Atlanta from Alpharetta
Teppanyaki cooked at your table and a full sushi bar, one turn off GA-400 at Exit 11.
Metro Atlanta has no shortage of Japanese restaurants, but hibachi is a specific format — a teppanyaki grill built into the table, a chef cooking in front of you, and a dinner that runs closer to an event than a meal. Ichiban Steak & Sushi has been serving that format in Alpharetta, in the north corridor of metro Atlanta.
We are at 5306 Windward Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30004, with free parking on site — which, for anyone driving up from intown Atlanta, is worth mentioning on its own.
Every hibachi entree is served with soup, salad, seasonal vegetables and steamed rice, so the ticket is a full dinner rather than a plate. Entrees run from a $16 vegetable hibachi to a $49 lobster, shrimp and scallop combination, with filet mignon at $33 and filet and lobster at $40.
Alongside the grill we run a full sushi bar — 39 signature rolls created in house, the traditional maki everyone knows, and nigiri and sashimi cut to order. Groups where half the table wants steak and half wants sushi are the normal case here, not the awkward one.
Our filet mignon, strip steak and ribeye come from Georgia Hereford cattle and Georgia ranchers. Our salmon comes from Norway and Scotland. On a hibachi grill that decision is visible — you watch the cut before it is seared and you watch how it behaves under heat. More on how we source.
A hibachi table seats roughly eight to ten around one grill, which is why it works for celebrations that would be awkward at a row of two-tops. Call (770) 772-6822 rather than booking online for larger parties, so we can put your whole group at one grill. An automatic gratuity of 22% applies to parties of more than 5 guests.
