Lunch at Ichiban

Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 2:30pm. Lunch portions and pricing differ from the dinner menu and rotate with the season, so we keep the current lunch sheet in the dining room and on our ordering page rather than publishing prices that go stale.

What stays the same is the format. The teppanyaki grill runs at lunch, so a hibachi lunch is the same tableside cooking as dinner in a shorter sitting. If you are on a one-hour break, tell your server when you sit down — the chef can time the grill around it.

Good choices for a fast lunch

• Fried rice or yaki soba from the wok, with vegetable, chicken, shrimp or steak. These leave the kitchen quickest.
• Udon noodle soup with shrimp and vegetable tempura, if you want something hot and complete in one bowl.
• Sushi from the bar, which does not depend on the grill schedule.
• Miso soup and a house salad to start — both arrive within a couple of minutes.

Where we are

We are at 5306 Windward Parkway, immediately off GA-400 at Exit 11, with free parking on site. That puts us within a short drive of the office parks along Windward, North Point, Avalon and the Alpharetta City Center, which is why weekday lunch fills up quickly between noon and 1:00pm. Calling ahead at (770) 772-6822 is worth the thirty seconds.
